The game was conceptualized as an educational, exciting and fun board game designed to be played by 2-4 players or as two competing teams. It is suitable for 9 ages and up.
A gap was identified in the market for a board game that has an educational element to it around conservation and ecological tourism within South Africa. Our challenge was to create something that would captivate audiences of all ages and be fun and educational at the same time.

We believe that is exactly what Adventurous Safari does. With its clever design, players are tourists who undertake a Safari throughout Southern Africa. By visiting Game Lodges and participating in activities, our tourists are able to proceed in the game. Question cards form an integral part of the game too and these are made age appropriate by being split into 2 groups- for children and for adults. The questions and answers are specifically designed to be very educational for children so they can learn and have fun at the same time. Of course, no game would be complete without some form of booby trap and this is in the form of the Eco Man Trail, adding another element of diversity to the game.

At the end of the game, players are awarded one of three titles- 2 runner ups an overall winner.
