Over the past 7 decades we have evolved into an organization that is the largest provider of employment opportunities to persons with disabilities.
We have come a long way from an entity that was established after the Second World War through 1948 cabinet memorandum. The Sheltered Employment Factories were established under the South African National Defense Force with the aim of providing sheltered ex-service man who could not secure employment in the labour market due to regulatory and access barriers that prevented their active participation in the economy.
Currently our physical infrastructure consists of 13 production factories located in 8 of the 9 provinces of South Africa with large warehousing capacity ranging from 1000m2 to 6000m2. This allows us to produce products in large volumes and provide the customer with storage on site until such time that the customer is ready to take receipt. We have product showrooms located in Johannesburg, Seshego and Kimberly to showcase the products that we manufacture.
